The Orchard of Flavours Membership Program

Dear Fruit Tree Lovers,

At Orchard of Flavours, we're dedicated to enriching our community with diverse flavours, biodiversity and climate-resilient edible plants.

Our botanical garden is a non-profit association, run by the community and for the community — making it yours too! Join us in transforming our garden into a symbol of sustainability and innovation.

As a member, your contribution supports the growth, research, and preservation of our unique food trees. You'll also aid our open-source educational project, promoting sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship.

In the face of environmental challenges and food security issues, your partnership ensures that future generations inherit a healthier planet. Together, let's cultivate a future filled with abundance and diversity.

Join us today. Your contribution matters!

Kind regards,

Miguel COTTON, founder

“Revolutionary and inspirational. It must take a lot of energy to make such a dream come true, and back it up with science! Thank you for opening the Orchard to us all!”
— Azzurra, Emma, Uriel & Matilde, members from Belgium

Your contributions will help to fuel the following research…

Our 2025 Projects

Your support directly funds transformative projects planned for 2025 that address key environmental challenges:

  • Exploring Salt Tolerance: We're documenting and sharing online the salt tolerance of our edible plants and how to use low-quality water effectively. This initiative is especially beneficial for Algarve residents who rely on borehole water, which can harm their gardens.

  • Innovative Water Conservation: We're designing workshops to educate our community on the most effective irrigation and water-saving techniques, empowering individuals to conserve precious resources.

  • Guides for Resilient Fruit Trees: We're publishing growing guides for Climate Change Food Tree Champions. These guides focus on fruit trees that thrive in Mediterranean climates, standing strong against drought, waterlogging, and wind.

Join us and help bring these essential 2025 projects to life! Together, we can build a more resilient and sustainable future.

By helping us you can enjoy many exclusive benefits.

(Starting from Canopy Patron membership, contributions can be monetary or in kind)
