How to explore
the Orchard of Flavours ?
Our unique botanical garden dedicated to perennial edible plants of warm climates and to climate change challenges is open for visits, either self-guided or on a Private Tour.
Spend a couple of hours in a beautiful orchard close to the Atlantic Ocean and to the historical town of Tavira. Relax at our Kiwano bar, where you are welcome to picnic, walk freely in the garden and learn about all the incredible number of fruit trees that can be grown in Southern Europe 🍌 🌿 🐆
Open from Wednesday to Saturday, from 9.00 to 12.30 AM and from 2.00 to 4.30 PM.

take your time, exploring at your own pace
discover 45 magical fruit trees of warmer climates and 3 types of Food Forests
learn as you go, by help of the Self-guided Visit Map, the QR codes under each tree, and more
choose your date and time, from Wednesday to Saturday, starting from 10 AM or from 2 PM
suggested donation per person: 5 EUR

What you will learn:

explore the main agroecology practices and see how they look and function at the Orchard of Flavours: from mulching, to composting, to the benefits of the Banana Circle approach, water harvesting and water saving techniques through micro-irrigation, …
